CD44 mRNA and protein expression in SK-OV-3 cells. (a) CD44 mRNA expression in ovarian cancer SK-OV-3 cells transfected with CD44-shRNA plasmid. CD44 protein expression in ovarian cancer SK-OV-3 cells transfected with CD44-shRNA plasmids. Using PEG-MZF-NPs as carriers, CD44-shRNA plasmids and the empty plasmids were transfected into ovarian cancer SK-OV-3 cells. (b) Western blotting results suggested that protein expression in the transfected cells is markedly downregulated.
