Comparative Study of Antitumor Activity between Lipophilic Bismuth Nanoparticles (BisBAL NPs) and Chlorhexidine on Human Squamous Cell Carcinoma

<div>Antitumor effect of BisBAL NPs and CHX on CAL-27 and HGF cell lines. Cell viability was evaluated with the MTT cell viability assay after a 24 h exposure to 0, 0.125, 1, 10, 25, 50, and 100 <i>μ</i>M BisBAL NP or CHX and 10 <i>μ</i>M DTX (positive control of cytotoxicity). Readings were performed in triplicate. Results are representative of three independent experiments.
