Comparative Study of Antitumor Activity between Lipophilic Bismuth Nanoparticles (BisBAL NPs) and Chlorhexidine on Human Squamous Cell Carcinoma

<div>Cell membrane permeability of nontumoral control cells (HGFs) was determined after exposition to BisBAL NP or chlorhexidine by calcein-AM assay and fluorescence microscopy. HGF cells were treated with 0, 10, or 50 <i>μ</i>M of BisBAL NP or 50 <i>μ</i>M of CHX for 24 h. After exposition, cells were stained with calcein-AM and DAPI. Bar indicates 5 <i>μ</i>m.</div>
