Acute Effects of Exogenous Hormone Administration on Postprandial Acylation Stimulating Protein Levels in Ovariectomized Rats after a Fat Load

Changes in plasma ASP concentrations after an oral fat load for different hormone treated groups and control group (each group, ). Results at each time point during postprandial period are expressed as means ± SEM (µg/mL) of difference in ASP levels from basal (by subtracting basal value at time zero (as shown in Table 2)) from each time point, and percentage increase was calculated. Two-way RM-ANCOVA demonstrated a significant main interaction between hormone treatment and time (hormone treatment × time); , , and partial eta squared = 0.25.
