The flatness is characterized by πœ‚ which is defined as πœ‚ = ( 𝐷 0 βˆ’ 𝑑 ) / 𝐷 0 , where 𝐷 0 is the original diameter of the nanotube and 𝑑 is the distance between two straight lines of the cross-section (adapted from [13]).
