Self-Organized One-Dimensional Nanotube/Nanowire Array Films for Use in Excitonic Solar Cells: A Review
Photocurrent density, dark current density, and power density of 2.0 μm long rutile TiO2 nanowire-array-based dye-sensitized solar cells under AM 1.5 illumination (100 mW/cm2): (a) unmodified nanowire array grown directly on TCO substrate and (b) a TiCl4 treatment is used to coat the TCO substrate prior to nanowire array growth and a NbCl5 treatment used on the nanowires prior to device assembly.
