Illustration of the nanovesicles formation from bolaamphiphile 1 and their subsequent self-assembly into pearl chains and finally nanotubes. The nontoxic vesicles fusion (pearling) is prevented by biocompatible polymer coating and used in terfenadine (TFN) drug delivery in a sustained manner (72 h) in zebrafish model system.
