The storage buffer of CPO sol-gel beads prepared with casting buffers at pH 4.5 (dark grey bars), 5.5 (grey bars), and 6.5 (light grey bars) was exchanged on a daily basis and monitored for CPO activity. All samples were prepared in triplicate with eight CPO sol-gel beads per sample tube. The bar height represents the mean value and the error bar ± one standard deviation.
