The mechanism of active tumor targeting of magnetic nanoparticles. The active tumor targeting of nanoparticles has been in practice in current era in albino mice. The ligands are attached to the outer surface of nanoparticles. The desired anticancer drug is attached to the outer surface of the site specific nanoparticles which recognize and ensure the efficient entry of the drug to the tumor cell reducing the toxicity in the neighbouring normal cells.
