Enhancement of Cisplatin-Mediated Apoptosis in Ovarian Cancer Cells through Potentiating G2/M Arrest and p21 Upregulation by Combinatorial Epigallocatechin Gallate and Sulforaphane

EGCG and SFN combination treatment enhances cisplatin-mediated G2/M phase arrest. SFN arrests the cell cycle at G2/M phase in ovarian cells, and EGCG potentiates the G2/M phase arrest of SFN. A2780 or A2780/CP20 cells were treated with 10 μM EGCG or 5 μM SFN or 1.5 μM (for A2780)/8 μM (for A2780/CP20) cisplatin for 3 days. All the experiments were repeated at least 3 times.
