Evaluation of anoikis resistance of WM266-4 and M21 melanoma cells. (a) Representative images of clonogenic efficacy of acidic and nonacidic WM266-4 and M21 melanoma cells after exposure to 72h of rocking condition. After treatment, the cells were seeded in 100 mm plates (5000 cells/dishes, in triplicate) and incubated for 15 days. (b) Quantification of cloning efficiency expressed as number of colonies. (c) Annexin V/PI flow cytometric analysis of acidic and nonacidic WM266-4 and M21 melanoma cells after exposure to 48h of rocking condition.
