A Ploidy Increase Promotes Sensitivity of Glioma Stem Cells to Aurora Kinases Inhibition

Ploidy evaluation after 48 h of treatment with 500 nM Danusertib. Cells were divided into several classes based on the chromosome content. Danusertib induced an increase in the chromosomes content in both sensitive and resistant cell lines. Italic numbers indicate cell ploidy of untreated cells: sensitive cell lines have a significant higher chromosome content compared to the resistant ones. Chi square test (treated vs untreated): p<0,05; p<0,01; p<0,001. t-test (ctrl sensitive vs ctrl resistant): #p<0,001.
