Exercise-Induced Irisin, the Fat Browning Myokine, as a Potential Anticancer Agent

A possible anti-inflammatory role of irisin could also be inferred by its ability of browning fat cells, reducing obesity and thus reducing the inflammatory microenvironment. Irisin may also have a direct effect on other cancer hallmarks.
