(c) Externalization of the leading haptic with 25-gauge forceps. (d) The haptic is bent and inserted back into the vitreous cavity through the second scleral incision created by a 25-gauge trocar blade. (e) Hide of the haptics to the intrascleral groove. (f) Conjunctival incisions are closed with 8-0 absorbable suture.
