Effectiveness of Intravitreal Ranibizumab in Nonvitrectomized and Vitrectomized Eyes with Diabetic Macular Edema: A Two-Year Retrospective Analysis

Changes in the mean visual acuity (in logMAR) of the study groups during 24 months of follow-up. BCVA indicates best-corrected visual acuity. Post hoc tests using the Bonferroni correction revealed that IVR treatment elicited a significant improvement in BCVA values from baseline to 6th month of treatment (0.51 ± 0.26 vs. 0.39 ± 0.26, ) in the nonvitrectomized group.
