(a, c): Color fundus images of the left eye of type 1 patient P2 at the first and last visit, respectively, show a significant reduction of crystalline material. (b, and d): Retinal changes were not obvious in the macula area of the left eye of type 2 patient P4. The crystalline deposits of the retina surrounding macula area were significantly reduced.
