Assessment of Serum Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Levels in Pregnancy-Induced Hypertension Patients

ROC curve was plotted to check the diagnostic significance of VEGF in PIH. Area under the curve was found to be 73.8% (), 95% confidence interval range was 63.5–89%. At VEGF level 14.04 pg/mL, sensitivity was found to be 88.6% and specificity to be 61.8% (Youden’s index ). ROC plot demonstrates performance of serum VEGF to detect PIH.
