The gas recognition system. On the left, the offline learning: the classes data sets are partitioned into clusters using the vector angle similarity measure. Each cluster is then represented by its centroids. On the right, the online recognition: the minimum angles between the investigated gas and classes centroides are computed, then the class with the minimum angle is chosen.
