Flow control to select the route from the inlet to each specific outlet. Nine sets of the fluorescent image and an illustration of the irradiation situation are shown. Numbers in illustrations correspond to the numbers of outlets as shown in the central figure. To move fluorescent microbeads to the specific outlets (as indicated by an arrow in each illustration), IR laser light was irradiated as indicated by the white polygonal patterns. Each polygon is a combination of one-nine squares, indicating that the irradiation beam at that point was reflected by one-nine micromirrors. Each microbeads trajectory follows the expected route.
