An Efficient Calibration Method for a Stereo Camera System with Heterogeneous Lenses Using an Embedded Checkerboard Pattern

The stereo camera setup we used in our experiments. Left side consists of the wide-angle camera and the right side consists of the narrow-angle camera. Both cameras are mounted on a horizontal panning bar. The special checkerboard pattern is kept very near to the camera setup.
