MCU. The processor checks out all processing stages of the device. It is powered by 3.3 V through IC2. It has embedded RTC and keeps time using B1 battery. It controls the ADC converter through the I2S interface, decides if a triggering has taken place, and if positive stores the 625 msec snippet in the SD card in wav stereo 16 bits, 16 KHz. After triggering, it takes measurements of humidity, temperature, barometric pressure, and background light intensity and stores this information in the filename of the snippet.
