Interaction between Age, Sex, and Mental Health Status as Precipitating Factors for Symptom Presentation in Concussed Individuals

(b) Symptom severity also revealed higher scores with increasing age, and the difference in symptom severity score was evident between males and females in each age group but reached statistical significance in the older female groups (++, male vs. female: 20–29, 30–39, and 40+).
