Abstract

By collision induced fragmentation of the [M+2H]2+‒ions of pyoverdins with a partially cyclic peptide structure the nature of the amino acids present and their sequence can be determined. The results obtained with pyoverdins of known structure could be used for structure proposals for new representatives.
