Even-parity energy levels (cm−1) plotted against their respective experimental LIS (cm−1) values. As seen in the Figure levels belonging to 4f75d6s6p and 4f75d26p configurations in the range of 22500–30000 cm−1 have been mixed together suggesting configuration interaction whereas the cluster of extreme low even-levels of pure 4f75d6s6p and extreme high even-levels of pure 4f75d26p configurations is free from configuration interaction.
