Experimental Studies on Electronic Configuration Mixing for the Even-Parity Levels of Gd I Using Isotope Shifts Recorded in the Visible Region with FTS

Wavelengths, line intensities, and energy level classifications have been taken from Russell [3]. IS (cm−1) in the 49 spectral lines (cm−1) of Gd I covering the region of 3646–4936 Å on FTS, source: liquid nitrogen cooled HCL, detector: PMT. Units of measurements were wavelengths (nm), intensities in arbitrary units (A. u.), energy levels (cm−1), and IS (cm−1). The accuracy for lines showing IS greater than 0.060 cm−1 was ±3.10−3 cm−1, and for lines with smaller IS than 0.060 cm−1 it was ±5.10−3 cm−1.
