An example of shaved and depilated animal. Among eight nipples, one abdominal nipple with breast tumor was monitored in the study. Raman signals were measured in triangular shape around a tumor (red colored dots). Below the right nipple, breast cancer cells (~1 million) were inoculated into mammary fat pad subcutaneously.
