Classification of Geological Samples Based on Soft Independent Modeling of Class Analogy Using Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy

Comparison between the PCA loading plots of the first three principal components is shown, the percentages represent the explained variance for each principal component. These three principal components, combined, explain 65.35% of the net variance in the data set. The loadings were compared to the recombined spectrum in order to observe the variables in the spectrum that contribute to classification.
