Metabolic Effects of Sucralose on Environmental Bacteria

M9 medium containing glucose as the only carbon source serves as a positive control, M9 medium containing only sucralose as a carbon source was the experimental group, and M9 medium containing no carbon source serves as a “starvation diet” or negative control. This was done to indicate the presence, if any, of sucralose metabolism.
