(b) shows vicine treated group with lost hepatic lobular architecture, large areas of hemorrhages in the fibrous strands, and cirrhosis (H&EX200). (c) shows pretreatment of antibiotic neomycin to vicine-treated rats with preserved hepatic lobular architecture. The hepatocytes are within normal limits and preserved their plate pattern. Liver almost returns to the normal pattern (H&EX200).
