Anion Gap Toxicity in Alloxan Induced Type 2 Diabetic Rats Treated with Antidiabetic Noncytotoxic Bioactive Compounds of Ethanolic Extract of Moringa oleifera

Bioactive extracts of Moringa reverted glucose level to normal in alloxan-induced diabetic rats. Healthy rats were confirmed as diabetic after treatment with alloxan. The diabetic rats were treated with Moringa extract as described in Section 2. Data show that treatment with the extract drastically reduced the glucose level. The figure is a mean and SE of 3 independent experiments.
