ERK 1/2 inhibition attenuated the CsA/SRL-induced alterations in HMCs. HMCs were grown to confluency and pretreated with UO126 10 μM for 1-hour prior to treatment with vehicle control, 4.2 μM CsA, 1 μM SRL, or CsA/SRL 4.2 μM + 1 μM, for 24 hours. phase contrast micrographs were taken using a CCD camera mounted on a Nikon microscope.
