Comparison of the stack voltage for the two loads. The peak voltage is about 1.14 MV when the accelerator drives the CRT load (d₀ = 8 mm, R_{load_A} = 1.20 Ω, and R_{load_B} = 1.22 Ω). The peak voltage is about 0.9 MV when the accelerator drives the Z-pinch load (l = 1.5 cm, r₀ = 1.2 cm, and mass = 0.3 mg/cm).
