IL-4 increases CCL2 protein expression in the exudates. Air pouches was created as described in Materials and Methods and 1 ml of the buffer (Ctrl), LPS (1 g/ml), or IL-4 (250 ng/ml) were administered into the pouch. Exudates were harvested after 6, 9, 12 and 24 hours, pooled () and then CCL2 production was measured by ELISA.
