Effects of Ubiquinol-10 on MicroRNA-146a Expression In Vitro and In Vivo

Effect of ubiquinol-10 on LPS-induced miR-146a expression in THP-1 cells. THP-1-cells were preincubated without (−) or with (+) 10 μM ubiquinol-10 for 24 hours. Afterwards, cells were treated without (−) or with (+) 1 μg LPS/mL for 4 hours. After this treatment, total RNA was extracted, converted to cDNA and miRs were assayed by TaqMan-based qRT-PCR. Observed expression levels of miRs in the respective treated cells were normalized to the corresponding levels of the endogenous control (snoRNA202).
