BDNF enhancing DNA-binding activity of NF-κB The DNA-binding activity of NF-κB in ischemic cortex in three groups was measured using Electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) 6 h and 24 h after reperfusion. Levels of NFκB DNA binding activity were expressed as arbitrary densitometric units (AU.) using Image J. Exogenous BDNF increased the activity of NF-κB 6 h and 24 h after reperfusion.
