Human Mast Cells (HMC-1 5C6) Enhance Interleukin-6 Production by Quiescent and Lipopolysaccharide-Stimulated Human Coronary Artery Endothelial Cells
Table 1
HMC-1 5C6 directly and synergistically with LPS enhance endothelial cell production of IL-6.

Confluent human coronary artery endothelial cells (15,000 cells/well) were incubated with the indicated number of human mast cells or their lysate after sonication in the presence or absence of LPS (100 ng/mL). After 20 h of incubation the culture supernatants were assayed for IL-6. HMC-1 5C6 cultured in the absence of HCAEC did generate IL-6 in the presence or absence of LPS. Each value presented is the of quadruplicate determinations. |
