Hemodynamic and microvascular parameters of cremaster muscle venules before and after stimulation with glucose in the TNFα model. Vessel diameter, centerline velocity, and wall shear rate are displayed before and after the intravenous administration of 0,5 g/kg glucose and compared to the application of the equivalent volume of normal saline. Experiments are presented as mean ± SEM; n.s.: not significant, stating no differences of hemodynamic parameters during the time course after glucose/saline injection.
