Western blot analysis of influence of PD98059 on thrombin- and trypsin-induced phosphorylation of ERK in purified T cells. PD98059 (PD, 50 μM) was preincubated with T cells at 37°C for 30 min before 3.0 μg/mL of thrombin and 0.3 μg/mL of trypsin being added for 30 min and 2 and 6 h. (a) Cells were treated with thrombin and trypsin for 2 h. (b) The relative levels of phospho-ERK1/2 were expressed as the ratio to β-actin, an internal control (house keeping protein).
