Effects of PD on the NF-κB activation in mice. Mice were pretreated i.p. with vehicle (PBS) or PD (15, 45, and 100 mg/kg, resp.) in the presence or absence of ZnPP IX (40 mg/kg) 1 h before CLP, and after 24 h, nuclear protein extracts were obtained from lung tissues for analysis of NF-κB activation.
