(a) Unstimulated cells: expression of IFN-𝛾, perforin, and granzyme B was significantly higher in CD4⁺CD28^null T-cells. Elispot counts of (b) IFN-𝛾, (c) perforin and (d) granzyme B were significantly increased after 48 hr stimulation with HSP60 (5 ng/mL) and HSP70 (5 ng/mL) as compared to unstimulated control in CD4⁺CD28^null cells as well as CD4⁺CD28⁺ cells.
