Contribution of CFTR to Alveolar Fluid Clearance by Lipoxin A4 via PI3K/Akt Pathway in LPS-Induced Acute Lung Injury

Lipoxin A4 reverses LPS-induced phosphorylation of Akt. ATII cells were treated with LY294002 (10 μM, PI3K/Akt inhibitor) or lipoxin A4 (100 nM) in the presence of LPS (1 μg/mL) for 30 min. After incubation, the cells were harvested and sonicated. Phosphorylation of Akt in the cell lysates was assessed by western blotting. Data were expressed as mean ± SEM for each group. * versus control group, # versus LPS group, for each group. LPS = lipopolysaccharide, LXA4 = lipoxin A4.
