Heme modulates cytokine secretion in AM. Rat AMs (1×10⁶/mL) were treated with different concentrations of heme (3–30 μM) for 3 h. The culture supernatants were subsequently collected and analyzed for IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α, and CINC-1 secretion by ELISA. The data shown are representative of three independent experiments.
