Effects of DEC on carrageenan-induced NFκB expression in the lung. Basal expression of NFκB was detected in lung samples obtained from the sham group, whereas NFκB levels were significantly increased in lung tissue of animals 4 hours after injection of carrageenan. Treatment with DEC and INDO reduced NFκB expression in comparison to the CAR group.
