Effect of 0.1 mg/kg MSH administration on body weight gain and food intake in control rats or in rats treated with 250 μg/kg LPS. PF = pair-fed rats. MSH treatment attenuated the inhibitory effect of LPS administration on body weight gain and food intake. Results are expressed as means ± SEM for 10 rats per group.
