FICZ and ITE inhibit the molecules associated with Th1 and Th17 cell effector function in stimulated CD4+T cells. CD4+T cells from healthy controls () were cultured with anti-CD3/CD28 and rIL-23 in the presence or absence of FICZ or ITE for 6 days. The cells were harvested for mRNA analysis of T-bet, RORC, IL-17, IL-23R, and CCR6 expression by real-time PCR. Paired-sample t test for related samples was used for statistical analyses.
