The consistency of two distributions: allergen related species distribution (■) and the distribution of the number of allergenic proteins within each species (▲). The allergens data were downloaded from the IUIS website (http://www.allergen.org/) on June 20, 2012. Estimated parameter for Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is 0.06642, less than the threshold values ( = 0.1212, = 0.1011), thus statistically validating the consistency of the two distributions.
