NF-B/AP-1-Targeted Inhibition of Macrophage-Mediated Inflammatory Responses by Depigmenting Compound AP736 Derived from Natural 1,3-Diphenylpropane Skeleton

Figure 3

Effects of AP736 on the expression levels of inflammatory genes in LPS-treated RAW264.7 cells. (a) RAW264.7 cells (5 × 106 cells/mL) were incubated with LPS (1 μg/mL) in either the presence or absence of AP736 for 6 h. The mRNA levels of iNOS, COX-2, and IL-1β were then determined using real-time PCR. (b) RAW264.7 cells (5 × 106 cells/mL) were incubated with LPS (1 μg/mL) in either the presence or absence of AP736 for 6 h. The mRNA levels of iNOS, COX-2, and IL-1β were then determined using semiquantitative PCR. and compared with the control group.
