Increased Peripheral Proinflammatory T Helper Subsets Contribute to Cardiovascular Complications in Diabetic Patients

Correlation analysis of absolute numbers of Th22, Th1, and Th17 cells with AIP correlation analysis of the absolute numbers of proinflammatory Th subsets in peripheral blood with AIP in T2D patients. The total number of CD4+ T cells (Th cells) showed a significant positive association with AIP. The positive correlation of Th1, Th17, and Th22 numbers, respectively, with AIP was all proved to be statistically significant (b, c, and d).
