ROS-Mediated NLRP3 Inflammasome Activity Is Essential for Burn-Induced Acute Lung Injury

<div>The expression of IL-1<i>β</i> and IL-18 in serum and lung tissue from severely burned rats over time. Rats were subjected to burn injury. IL-1<i>β</i> (a) and IL-18 (b) in serum were determined using ELISA. The mRNA levels of IL-1<i>β</i> (c) and IL-18 (d) in rat lungs were analyzed by real-time PCR and normalized against GAPDH mRNA level.
