NAI and NAI-imine induces cytotoxicity in a concentration-dependent manner. LPS-primed J774 cells in complete medium were incubated with ATP, NAI, or NAI-imine (as indicated) for 24 h and then with CellTiter 96® One Solution for 2 h. The viability of cells incubated with ATP or isatin derivatives was determined as percentage of the maximal absorbance of cells incubated in the absence of ATP or in the presence of DMSO, respectively.
